I am a volunteer for this American Diabetes Association of Iowa non-profit fund raiser
Founded by the late Easyrider photojournalist Rip Rose, the Bikers Against Diabetes ride comes to Iowa. Funds raised by you and your sponsors support the lifesaving work of the ADA.
There will be start sites throughout Iowa arriving at the festival site near Boone (US Hwy 30 and IA Hyw 17). Enjoy a full day of riding, lunch, activities, live concert, bike show, games, silent auction and more.
Register with a minimum donation for the ride, pin and festival, You are challenged to raise sponsorship donations which earn additional rewards. VIP party the night before for anyone who raises $500 or more.
Can't join the ride?, you can sponsor a rider or make a direct donation.
All donations are tax deductible!

1st Annual Iowa Rip's B.A.D. Ride home page
Here's how it works:
You can logon to the B.A.D. Ride web site and register for the ride, or sponsor a current registered rider. Registered riders are challenged to raise sponsorship donations which are easily managed through your personal B.A.D. Ride web page, and earn additional rewards. This makes it easy to participate by email, and donations can be paid online so you don't even need to collect any money. Registered ridres also receive a donation collection envelope if you want to raise funds that way. All donations are Tax deductible! There are corproate sponsorship optiosn available also.
The minimum donation to join the ride is $25 for early registration or $30 day of event ($20 additional for a passenger). If you choose to raise donations that exceed the minimum donation, then the ride cost's you nothing. The B.A.D. Ride comittee challenges you to a fund raising goal of at least $100. Additional rewards are cumulative and earned at the following donation levels.

Choose one of the multiple start sites to check in Saturday morining. Each start site will follow an enjoyable route to the festival where a complimentary lunch will be served.
